* Arranging for subcontractors to be available when needed.

* Dealing with suppliers and making sure materials are ordered and delivered on time.

* Monitoring progress on a daily basis, confirming that everything complies with the plan of work.

* Arranging for inspections by the architect and building inspectors at the end of each stage.

* Answering questions that arise during building, and clarifying anything in the plans with the contractors.

* Knowing when progress payments are due from suppliers and checking claims for payment.

* Maintaining your accounts and advising regarding payments due, as per the contract of work.

* Negotiating with the builder and subcontractors to come back and fix any work not completed or done properly.

* Processing modifications and anything else that crops up along the way.

* Arranging the final inspection for the acceptance certificate.

* Keeping you informed with regular photos and updates.
